Departing from Punsand Bay, this day-long adventure takes you to Thursday Island and Roko Island with a blend of history, culture, nature, and relaxation.

Roko Island is a small privately owned gem. It used to be a pearl farm but now offers island getaway and day tours for those craving, nature, simplicity and relaxation.  It has a self sufficient and sustainable living environment. 

Itinerary


7:30 am- Pick up from Punsand Bay beach front (straight down from the restaurant). Be prepared for tender boarding via beach transfer.

Expect to get your feet wet, so try and avoid closed shoes-you may pack them.

8:00 am – Departure

Complimentary tea and coffee on board as we cruise through the Torres Strait.

10:00 am: Arrive at Thursday Island

Explore your way:

•   Book a guided island tour (more information will be supplied with your booking confirmation)

•   or explore the Island at your own pace

Note:
It is your responsibility to ensure that any tours booked are made with consideration of your departure time from Thursday Island.

12.30 pm: Departure from Thursday Island

Return to wharf at 12:20 PM sharp for 12:30 PM departure

2:30 pm: Arrive at Roko Island

•   Chill with a cocktail at the Jetty Bar (drinks available to be purchased)

•   Browse pearl jewellery and souvenirs

•   Join a short guided nature walk

•   Enjoy pre-booked snacks with cold drinks available at the bar

4:00 pm: Departure from Roko Island back to Punsand Bay

4:45 pm: Arrival at Punsand Bay 

Our tender will run several trips to return all guests safely to shore.

What to Bring

 Water bottle (refill available onboard), sunscreen, insect repellent, hat, sunglasses, light jacket.

Important Notes

•   Local tours on Thursday Island are not included and must be booked separately.

•   Please note that we need a minimum number to operate the Cruise.

•   Each guest is allowed 5 kg of luggage each. One stroller per child is permitted as well.

•   Consider the need to waterproof valuables

•   A detailed info sheet will be included with your booking confirmation.

•   Check your email the day before for pick-up instructions.

•   Cruise subject to change due to weather conditions & availability.
